CRINES Professor K. Minato |
From the open call ending on August 25, 2006, Dr. Akio Minato, of the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry (CRIEPI), was named as the new CRINES Professor on December 1, 2006. Dr. Minato has worked for many years to bring about a 4S (Super-Safe, Small and Simple) nuclear reactor. He was the Japanese representative on IAEA panels on small reactors and desalination plants. We look forward to Dr. Minato’s contributions to CRINES to develop a small nuclear power plant. |
